Los Angeles Business Phone Systems

A Business Phone System Built for Los Angeles Companies

Cloud calling, business texting, mobile apps and AI answering — with a local team that ports your numbers, configures your call flow, and picks up the phone when you need something.

Keep Your Existing NumbersEasy SetupLocal SupportNo Long-Term Contract

Most Los Angeles businesses do not need a phone system so much as they need their calls to stop falling through the cracks. Someone is in the car on the 101, someone else is working from home in Pasadena, the front desk is covering two locations, and a missed call is a lost customer. A cloud phone system fixes that by moving your numbers off a box in a closet and onto software your team can use from a desk phone, a laptop, or a cell phone.

PrimeCall is based in Valley Village and works with businesses across Los Angeles County — from single-office professional practices to multi-site operations with staff spread between the Valley, the Westside, and Downtown.

What’s included

Cloud calling

HD voice on desk phones, computers and cell phones, with auto-attendants, ring groups, voicemail-to-email and call recording.

Business texting

Send and receive SMS from your main business number, so customers can text the same line they call.

Mobile apps

Take and place calls from your business number on a personal phone without giving out a personal number.

AI receptionist

Answer, route and log every call automatically — useful when the front desk is busy or after hours.

Contact center

Queues, reporting and supervisor tools for teams that live on the phone all day.

Microsoft Teams

Keep Teams as the interface your staff already use and put real calling behind it.

You can see how these are packaged on our plans and pricing page, or read more about cloud calling, the AI receptionist and Teams integration.

Why “local” actually matters here

Plenty of national VoIP providers will sell you a phone system in Los Angeles. The difference usually shows up on day one of the install and again the first time something breaks.

  • Someone who knows your setup. You are not explaining your call flow to a new agent in a different time zone every time you call in.
  • Porting handled for you. We move your existing numbers — 213, 323, 310, 424, 818, 747, 626 and 661 area codes included — and we schedule the cutover so your lines do not go dark during business hours.
  • Configuration done with you, not handed to you. Auto-attendant menus, hours of operation, holiday routing and voicemail are set up before you go live.
  • Hands-on help when you need it. For businesses in the San Fernando Valley and surrounding areas, on-site support is a short drive rather than a shipping label.

Switching without downtime

Number porting is the part that worries people most, and it is the part we handle. Your existing numbers stay live on your current carrier while we build and test your new system in parallel. Only when everything is configured and you have signed off do we schedule the port. The switch itself typically happens outside business hours, so your customers never hit a dead line.

You keep your numbers. You do not sign a multi-year contract. If you have equipment worth reusing, we will tell you honestly whether it is worth keeping.

Serving businesses across Los Angeles

We support customers throughout LA County, with a concentration in the San Fernando Valley. If you are nearby, we have dedicated pages for Sherman Oaks and Encino.

We also work with specific industries that have particular phone requirements — healthcare practices, law firms and real estate teams each have pages covering what that looks like.

Common questions

Can I keep my existing Los Angeles phone numbers?

Yes. Number porting is a standard part of every install, and it covers all Los Angeles area codes including 213, 323, 310, 424, 818, 747, 626 and 661. Your numbers stay active on your current carrier until the port completes, so there is no window where calls cannot reach you.

How long does it take to switch to a cloud phone system?

Configuration and testing usually take a few business days. The number port itself is scheduled with your current carrier and is the longest part of the timeline — carriers typically need one to a few weeks depending on the type of line and how quickly they release it. Your current phones keep working the entire time.

Do we need new phones, or can we use the ones we have?

It depends on the hardware. Many IP desk phones can be reconfigured for a new provider and reused. Older analog or proprietary handsets tied to a legacy PBX generally cannot. Tell us what you have and we will tell you what is worth keeping — you can also run entirely from computers and cell phones with no desk phones at all.

What internet connection do we need?

A stable business internet connection is enough for most offices. Voice calls use relatively little bandwidth, but they are sensitive to congestion and jitter, so how the network is configured matters more than raw speed. We review your connection before install and can prioritize voice traffic on your network if needed.

What happens if the internet or power goes out?

Because the system lives in the cloud rather than in your office, an outage at your location does not take the phone system down. Calls can be set to automatically reroute to cell phones or to another location, so you can keep answering while the office connection is restored.

Are we locked into a long-term contract?

No. Month-to-month is available, and longer terms are optional if you prefer the pricing that comes with them. See plans and pricing for current options, or request a quote and we will put your specific configuration in writing.

Want a straight answer on what this would cost?

Tell us how many people you have and how you take calls today. We will send a written quote — no obligation.
