How the connection works
Your PrimeCall voice service. Your Microsoft Teams experience.
Direct Routing securely connects Microsoft Teams Phone to PrimeCall calling services. Users keep working in Teams while external calls travel through the configured voice connection.
Before deployment
Licensing and admin requirements—made clear.
The integration requires Microsoft licensing and administrator participation. PrimeCall coordinates the voice side, while your Microsoft Enterprise or Teams administrator authorizes and completes tenant-level steps.
Microsoft user license
Each planned Teams calling user needs a compatible Microsoft 365 or Office user license.
Teams Phone license
Each user needs Microsoft Teams Phone / Phone System entitlement, or a bundle that includes it.
Extra unassigned license
Keep one additional compatible license available and unassigned for Direct Routing provisioning.
Enterprise admin access
A Microsoft Enterprise admin accepts the invitation and grants required permissions.
Teams admin participation
An admin enables calling, builds the custom app, and assigns required policies.
Propagation time
The documented configuration and Microsoft server propagation may take up to 48 hours.
Guided implementation
We work with your Microsoft administrator.
This is not a self-service toggle. The process includes tenant authorization, permissions, Direct Routing, user provisioning, policy enablement, and custom app deployment.
Deployment roadmap
From authorization to the Calls icon in Teams.
